Well week one of training for the 2015 San Francisco Marathon is in the books. The first week of training wasn’t anything too exciting nothing too rigorous, it was all about routine and testing the waters to see where I was without having “trained” for anything since the California International Marathon back in December.
The total mileage for week 1 was 55+ miles with no speed work or intervals. The only significant change to this first week of training outside of the gradual mileage build up was the addition of The Runner’s Six workout, created by Luke over at Results Therapy. I did these 6 simple exercises 2 times this week and will be adding a third day into week 2.
Are you training for anything coming up? What changes are you making to get after your 2015 running goals?
