Okay let’s be honest there was no likely hood of it being a rain or shine thing, because even if it weren’t raining during our workout, 6:25AM the sun still isn’t shinning. Last week we had some awesome numbers because the weather was “nice”, today we had about half of the size of last week’s group because it was raining.
Anyways we gathered at our normal meeting point at the west steps of the Capitol. Today we welcomed two new faces to the group, Joey who we recruited over during a Tuesday night running group workout and Gabriela who found us online and just recently completed her first 100-mile endurance run in Rio Del Lago in November.
With the group gathered we started off with our first chunk of running before hitting a 6 minute circuit consisting of high knees, squats, lunges, cross-body mountain climbers, push ups and bear crawls. This would repeat a total of 3 times through to create the #WTF Circuit (WAY.TOO.FUN.).
During the second round that is when the rain started pouring down on us and that’s when the workout became even more AWESOME! If you missed out on a fun and wet Wednesday workout shame on you! In case you were trying to figure out where some of the Wednesday folks were this morning, here you go in the WE MISSED YOU portion of the blog 🙂
These are just a couple of them that weren’t around this morning 🙂 Feel free to message them and others not mentioned to let them know we missed them this morning.
