The second week of #breakFASTclub and we already saw a PLOT TWIST! Sounds exciting right? Well, as stated before every Friday workout will be based on the Deck of Cards workout, where we put our reps and movements in the luck of the draw.
Normally our deck of cards workouts only involve burpees if you drew the joker, today the hearts made us love the burpees the most. After a five minute warm-up run it was time for Deck of Cards Plot Twist. Each suite was a different exercise which included burpees, squats, situps and pushups. Another change in the cards for today included the value of face cards and jokers. For today jacks equated to 12 reps, queens 15 reps, kings 20 reps and aces 25 reps! The joker played a double the value of the next card drawn. You could only imagine the worry that came to people’s faces as they started with a joker and hoped to not pull the ace of heats which would equate to 50 burpees.
We also welcomed back Mitch to our workout this morning, who has been away for a couple of weeks. He was the one who loved squats and burpees the most.
We missed a couple of friends at today’s workout (Tara and Derek) , so if you see them hanging around on a Thursday night remind them to set their alarms and get to bed because they have #breakFASTclub on Friday mornings 🙂
