#9run6: WE.ARE.SPARTA.

The alarm goes off and the 9run6 Wednesday morning workout group gathers at 6:25AM like they do every week (rain or shine, light or dark). This week we welcomed a new member to the workout who found us online. While we welcomed back David who went on vacation from the Wednesday workouts for a couple of weeks.

The workout for this Wednesday was a spin off of the 300 Spartan workout. 300 reps of all body weight movements, since we don’t have the luxury for dragging out plyo boxes, pull-up bars, and weighted bars. So this 300 workout (for time) consisted of 50 jump squats, 50 push-ups, 50 tricep dips, 50 forward lunges (each leg), and 50 leg raises.

We also had intermediate and beginner modified workouts, but no one did those because everyone there no matter their athletic ability is awesome and worked their hardest. However, there was only 1 winner (quickest to perform the workout) and that was Brad who barely beat out Tara.
