Thanks to the friendly folks over at TrailHeads, I was sent a pair of the TrailHeads Action Contour Hat to test out, review and giveaway a pair to one of your lucky blog readers.
When I received my TrailHeads Action Contour Hat, I did what I normally do and put it right on. The Action Contour Hat, felt comfortable and snug. One thing I noticed was the that near the ears the material on the hat extended a little lower than the rest of the hat to provide extra warmth to the ears by covering them.

Once I got it on, it was time to take it out on my morning run. Around the Sacramento area, the temperatures have been in the low 30’s and a bit dark during my run. The Action Contour Hat provided both warmth and extra visibility during my run with it’s reflective piping that goes around the hat.

taking the Action Contour Hat on a run in Philly

Most recently, I took a trip to Philadelphia and decided to pack my Action Contour Hat with me to keep me warm during my runs out there, since I knew there would be a chance of snow while I was out there. Sure enough the morning, when I opted to put the Action Contour Hat on before stepping out of my hotel, was the morning when there was snow on my run. The hat worked like a charm keeping me warm during my morning run.

Now you have read my review on the TrailHeads Action Contour Hat it is your turn to try them out by entering the raffle contest below. If you are in need of other layers such as gloves or other hats, you can save 20% off by using discount code MALIVING that will work sitewide from 1/27 – 2/10.

  1. I wear a 'generic' on the field Steeler hat…

  2. I have a plain knit nylon stocking cap that I got free at a tool show (it has the “Snap-On Tools” logo on it) but it is longer than most and covers my ears well; it is also a lot less bulky than most caps.

  3. I wear a hat that I got for a top 3 age group award.

  4. I wear an Asics ear warmer for above 30, and an Under Armour Cold Gear Infrared hood for below. It's been very cold in Illinois, so the hood has gotten a lot of use this year!

  5. generally I wear ear warmers over a hat, but Ive never had a “good” one, only generic knit hats

  6. I wear either a fleece hat or a OR Windstopper Knitted hat. I also wear a wool buff as a hat sometimes when running or hiking.

  7. I usually just wear a headband (80s colors lately bc I lost my NIKE one)

  8. I usually wear a fleece headband or a regular hat. I'd love to try this contour hat!

  9. I love the fact that it is very full in the bottom, and made to fit on the top. I've always wanted a dress like this, so this is an absolute dream come true! I would recommend this dress to anyone.
