Giveaway: Berkeley Half Marathon Entry

The Berkeley Half Marathon is going down on November 24, 2013 in the beautiful city of Berkeley, California. The 13.1-mile route offers a point-to-point which is flat, fast, and has a net-downhill. Click here to checkout the course map.

What else can you expect at the Berkeley Half Marathon?

  • The race starts at Civic Center Park, wraps around the west side of the UC Berkeley Campus, and then continues straight through the heart of Berkeley on University Avenue, passing local shops and parks on the way to the marina. At mile 4, the course turns south along the waterfront, along the Berkeley Marina, turns around to head north to Cesar Chavez Park, looping around the park, exposing breathtaking sights of the SF skyline and the bay. Finally, the route continues north for a finish and celebration at Golden Gate Fields.
  • Perfect running weather, average temps between 45-60 degrees
  • Technical shirt, finisher’s medal

  1. Great giveaway! I used to work in Berkeley, would love to go back and run there! My favorite distance is 13.1. I ran a 26.2 ONCE, may never do that again. I love the 10k distance too.

  3. I've never done 13.1 (first one in less than 50 days!) but I think I'll love it! 10K is my favorite right now. I was just saying I wanted to give the Berkeley half a go, since I'll be all ready to go anyway!
