Another week in the books of training for the Ventura Marathon. I can’t believe that my 15th marathon is actually about to happen. When I ran my first 26.2 back in 2004, it was supposed to be a one time thing. Now I am on my way to toeing my 4th marathon in 2013.
Last week brought me a couple of good workouts during the week as well as partaking in my first out of state running event, when I ran at Hood To Coast Relay (race report coming soon). With less than 2 weeks out from the Ventura Marathon my high mileage will start to drop a bit eventually my intervals and tempo paced runs will also be removed as I begin to taper.
