Interested in trying something different, something that is a little more extreme than your typical 10 mile run? Okay you can add some hills to a 10 mile run to make it challenging. Now imagine running a 10 mile run in San Francisco. Pretty challenging right? Well how about we mix in some barricades along the course, throw in some tires to have to high step through, some jeeps to have to crawl under, some taxi cabs to jump on and over, a wall to scale, and for added fun, how about we add some stadium stairs at AT&T Park the home of the San Francisco Giants. This sounds pretty intense and eventful right? Well here is your chance to do all of this on November 18, 2012 at the Men’s Health URBANATHLON.

Monday: Intervals… Run 1 mile easy, 1/2 mile at a solid effort, 1 minute easy, 1/2 mile solid effort, 1 minute easy, 1/2 mile solid effort, 1 minute easy, finish with a 1.5 mile steady effort.
Tuesday: Circuit Workout from MEN’s HEALTH URBANATHLON CIRCUIT WORKOUT
Wednesday: Run 5 miles at a steady effort
Thursday: Circuit Workout from MEN’s HEALTH URBANATHLON CIRCUIT WORKOUT
Friday: Run 7.7 miles at a steady effort
