I was finally able to jump back into the water today. And what a workout! It was a tough on since my chest is still a bit congested, so getting through the water at first was a real struggle. After getting through a warm-up I was able to get a good swim in lasting about 30 minutes in the water today. The workout itself consisted of the warm-up which is a 100 meter freestyle, 100 meter kick board, 100 meter pull buoy. After that I went for as long as I could with the flippers to total 30 minutes of work today. I really didn’t count the laps today. For me today was just about getting the workout in and going as long as my lungs would allow me to. I think tonight there will be another strength workout using on of the P90X routines to help get my shoulder strength back.
