Today was a day, that I knew trying to workout would just be a bad idea. With my temperature hitting up to 100 degrees and getting some body aches and chills, through the course of the night. The last thing I wanted to do was get up and go on a run this morning. The schedule for today was supposed to be a 5 miles, needless to say I skipped that and just opted to drink lots of water to stay hydrated. I am just hoping that I can get this virus to pass through in the next day so that I do not miss out on my long run this weekend. Also I am missing my cross training workouts in the pool, so I am hoping to get back at those pool workouts by Sunday or Monday at the latest. With one month away from my first race, the last thing I wanted was to get sick, but better to get sick early in the year than when it closer to the CIM.
