Today I got an early workout with my cross training scheduled pool work. I started off with the typical warm-up which seems to be working for me prior to each water workout. I do the 100 meters of freestyle, then 100 meters of kick board, followed by 100 meters of pull buoy before getting into the actual workout for the day. The workout today was a variation of a workout that I found online where there were 3 different strokes used. I had to change one of the strokes because I do not know how to do the butterfly stroke. So “my medley” was 100 meters freestyle, 100 meters breast stroke, 100 meters back stroke. This series was repeated 3 times through. The stroke I switched in was the back stroke. I am hoping at some point I can learn the butterfly because it seems like a very good stroke for a workout.
