and I swam

Workout: 300 meter warmup (100 freestyle, 100 kick board, 100 pull buoy), 1000 meters freestyle swim for the workout.

Today I was having mixed feelings about the swim. At first I struggled my legs felt weak and I couldn’t get into a rhythm, but like my longer runs as the workout moved my body felt better. Even my warmup felt a bit slow and sloppy at first. Then I got into the actual workout, 1000 meters or 40 laps in the pool I was swimming at. Around lap 10 or so my body and breathing began to sync up, everything started to feel good, and that is what allowed me to finish it strong. Sometimes I think I don’t have it today and feel like ending it but I know there is something about the more I go the better I get at something. Today I am really glad I didn’t pull put of the swim because in the end I felt really good about everything today.
