Workout: cross training pool workout. Warmup with 100 meter freestyle, 100 meter pull buoy, 100 meter flippers. 500 meters freestyle stroke for the workout.
It was a quick but effective workout. I also slipped a new piece of equipment in my swim. Today I added in the flippers and wow as a little strength work it definitely had me working in my warmup. I think I’ll be looking up some flipper workouts to help me really focus on kicking from the hip rather than the knee. As far as the the workout itself I went for a solid swim going 500 meters freestyle. I can feel my endurance increasing in the pool. Back to some speed workouts tomorrow when I hit the pavement with my Vibrams!
