1200 in the water

workout: swimming for cross training total of 1200 meters. 4 sets of 100 meters freestyle stroke, 100 meters of kick board, and 100 meters of pull buoy.

Today was a good workout for me and very exhausting. What I realized is how my ankles need to get stronger because as the sets move on I can definitely feel my ankles fatigue. Switching off every 100 meters was nice because it did allow me to track my distance. I am interested in seeing or finding another way to get my meters in and count them when I just do more freestyle swimming. Today I did use the pull buoy more than I did last friday and felt the arms working even harder in the workout. This was a good experience with the workout and putting the meters in. I am becoming very comfortable with my pool workouts and hope that I can feel them payoff in the near future. Tomorrow will be another pool workout and I am really looking forward to it.
