Speeding Up The Workout

Workout: 10 minute warm up. 6×800 meter runs with 1:30 rest intervals. 10 minute cool down.

The early morning darkness called for my reflective gloves in the photo above. Getting back on a training schedule only means one thing… Speed workouts!!! As you blogger readers know I love my speed workouts. Fast, short, intense, and really effective. Going back to the “3+2” or in my case “3+3” workout includes just three quality runs and speed runs being one of them and my favorite!

Today I’m also looking forward to my long overdue sports massage! Breaking down those knots in the muscles and feeling like you are a big noodle at the end is a great feeling. It’s the end of the year why not treat yourself to a sports massage as well!
