back on the watch & training

workout: 10 mile run.

Today was the beginning for getting some training runs in along with running with a watch again. Getting a good 10 mile run in today was awesome considering I probably put on about 15 pounds after eating for 2 days straight. Tomorrow will be a new part of my training as I start the swimming as a cross training exercise into my workouts. The early part of the year will be about trying out different cross training methods and tweaking it before I get ready for the CIM in December of 2011. It will be fun to work on different techniques and see what works and what doesn’t. Also trying to figure out exactly which races I will be doing in 2011 will be another interesting thing that will determine some of my training runs and other things that go into getting ready for the races. I hope all of you had a great Christmas and are getting ready for your 2011 races.
