workout: 45 minutes of cross training on the bike.

The success of yesterday’s run and the enjoyment of yesterday’s meals are done. Today is today. With a little over 1 week before the CIM, it was time to continue back on the bike and stay focused. I have now partaken in 13 various runs from a 5k to a full 26.2 mile marathon this calendar year. The CIM makes it 14 official races. I have had a lot of ups this running season, and really only 1 down, the SF Marathon. I know I have learned a lot about myself as a runner since dumping my watch a few months back. December 5th cannot come soon enough to be able to enjoy the race! This morning, it was officially an eye opener that the race was around the corner. As I was driving up Fair Oak Blvd, I happened to see a sign on the light post that was an official CIM banner, waving in the wind!!!! Those of you that will be running in the CIM congrats on making it this far and good luck to all of you!!!
