400s

Workout: 10 minute warmup. 10×400 meters with a 400 meter rest interval between each run. 10 minute cool down.

Ahhh Thursday speed workouts. There is nothing like them especially with 400s. They are fast and quick but over the course of workout they start to hit your legs pretty hard. Still I love them. The 10 minute warmup is great to get the body warmed up before hitting your first 400. By the 5th or 6th 400 my legs started to feel it. Cardio wise I’m pretty fit right now its a matter of having my legs under me for the CIM is what I need to make sure I have. When I finally finished with the 10th 400 my legs needed the final 10 minute cool down to just unwind after the speed work.
