Workout: 10 minute warm-up. 1k, 1k, 2k, 1k with a 400 meter rest interval between each run. 10 minute cool down run.
Thursdays are hands down the best workout days for me. Not just from an enjoyment standpoint but from a physical standpoint as well. Especially with workouts like today, my body just doesn’t struggle with these types of workouts. 1k may seem like a long distance to go hard but really it isn’t. So don’t get intimidated by the numbers or thinking of it as 1,000 meters. Enjoy the faster paced workouts because we know how slow and long those long runs may feel sometimes.
