workout: 5 mile run.
Today was all about just getting a good solid run in. 5 miles may seem short which it was but it is also important to get off to a good start, a mile run is on the short end but it does let you hit the road a little harder than normal. Today was one of those days, get the miles in and then call it a day. Running a flat and familiar route makes this easy, which I did. The only down side with my familiar routes is the traffic lights, where cross walks can slow down the momentum. With that being said, hitting the road for a fast five today was pretty simple, but still effective.
