Workout: 10 miles
I finally got the chip time and official finish for the Miner’s Ravine from yesterday. I completed the 10k in 42 minutes and 42.8 seconds, finishing 7th overall and 2nd in the men’s 30-39 age group. As for today’s workout I put in a 10 mile run, and definitely felt the legs starting to get tired by the end of the run, having raced on the day before. In the end I still put in 10 miles and felt good for the most part. Continuing with the no watch run has been the best thing for me, however with a busy work schedule this time of year and not being able to put in the additional workouts I can feel a little slower in certain parts of my runs. Hopefully I can find some ways to sneak in more of my plyo and core workouts in the next couple of weeks and again starting in November.
