Back On The Bike

Workout: 40 minutes of cross training on the mountain bike attached to the trainer.

After yesterday’s 8 miler at a not so up to par pace I jumped back on the bike tonight to get some of the cardio work as well as just getting the legs moving again. It is clear that not all athletes are on top of their game all the time. It always takes a little work and maybe even those sub par performances keep us humble. The harder we work the greater the expectations and the more disappointment that might present itself. But even with that we tend to forget the work we have already invested into not the sport but ourself as a competitor. It’s always well worth the effort even on the bad days. So knowing that any given day can be a bad day, I am always ready to get on the bike or more than often put my feet on the road.
