Workout: 10 min. Warm-up, 400 meter run, 600 meter run, 800 meter run, 1200 meter run, 800 meter run, 600 meter run, 400 meter run. Each run has a 400 meter rest interval. Finish with a 10 minute cool down. Followed with Rev Abs Fire Up Your Abs DVD.
The speed interval workout today was a great and fun run. Continuing to go with out a timer is great only a pedometer for distance purposes is keeping these runs fun for me. After going one week without tracking my pace times etc, I am a true believer that the best judge is not the watch but my body itself. It pushes harder based on how it feels rather than because of a time or pace. The phot above is my workout distances written on the inside of my forearm. With the no watch running I am thinking of running the CIM in December without a watch. The course keeps the distance so even the pedometer isn’t even needed. We shall see how this goes. I may time myself in the Urban Cow in October just to have a gauge where I am as far as pace but that will probably be the only time I do that.
