Workout: 13 mile run

So today was my longest run without a watch only a pedometer to keep my distance. The run was a familiar run around the Rosemont to Sac State area, 13 miles in all. Going without a watch is a new feeling, it allowed me to just run and enjoy every minute and step of it. As an experienced runner passed onto me 26.2 miles is just a few step repeated a number of times. And that is so true, every step is the same just repeated. Without a watch I was able to focus on every step, every breath, and most importantly every moment of my run. I really am going to enjoy these workouts. After all not everything has to be done in a New York minute, I just need to run easy.
