Cross Training Morning

Workout: 40 minutes cross-training.

This morning I opted to ride my bike on the trainer for my cross training activity for 40 minutes. Still feeling good from last nights 13 miler, my legs just needed a little movement to get myself going this morning. Perhaps the toughest thing of evening runs is going from running to feet up relaxing, letting the legs get a little stiff going to straight rest after the run.
For those of you wondering what a trainer is for a bike, it is a simple piece of equipment that allows you to hook up your mountain or road bike and let’s you ride in a single place. It turns your bike into a stationary bike. The trainer of course takes away the actual road but you can adjust the resistance accordingly during the ride.
