Run: Active Rest
Additional Workout: Insanity Cardio Abs

Today is a light workout day to allow for full recovery of yesterday’s 18 mile run. By completing the 18 miles yesterday, it leaves 3 long runs left before the SF Marathon. The 3 long runs remaining are two 20 milers and an 8 mile run. Continuing to recover today will be a good thing, my legs are not as tired as yesterday right after my run, but I know over working or over training at this point could limit my performance come July 26th. Limiting the amount of plyometrics and just doing maintenance work with core work and other strength building/maintaining exercises will be sufficient to keeping me where I need to be for the upcoming weeks. Also a key to these next couple weeks are proper hydration, without over hydrating, and consuming enough calories to have energy to burn for my daily functions and training.
