Today June 2nd is the second annual National Running Day. It is a day that is used to help promote the benefits of running and encourage people to a healthy, easy, accessible form of exercise. So kick off your shoes and go for a run….and yes I did say “KICK OFF YOUR SHOES!!!!”. Give it a try go onto an all weather track, a grassy area, or a safe running area you are familiar with and not just run but run barefoot. No matter the distance or the location just go for a run. Take 15, 20, 30 or however long and just go run. For more information about National Running Day log onto their website www.runningday.org.
